Dear Room 3, I like the way you have been studying Matariki and your learning has taken you outside and inside. I have learnt something new about planting Garlic. Thank you. I will have to tell my husband who is the gardener in our house. He better hurry up and plant his garlic now. Did yo know that they are now saying that Matariki is actually 9 stars. Here is a link to read more about this. https://kcc.org.nz/te-iwa-o-matariki-the-nine-stars-of-matariki-promotion/ from Mrs Torrie
Kia ora Room 3! I love how you are not afraid to get a little dirty while gardening! I didn't know that garlic was traditionally planted on the shortest day, I have learnt something new today. What are the stars' names?
